WHO

I founded Yankee Bridge out of firsthand experience and a deep respect for what it really takes to succeed across cultures. This isn’t theory for me—it’s the result of years spent in the home furnishings industry, working directly with manufacturers, retailers and buyers, on both sides of the Pacific.

 

I’ve developed products from concept to shelf, navigated complex supply chains, and managed the fine balance between creative vision and commercial viability.

Over time, one truth became clear: many excellent companies from Asia struggle to connect with Western markets—not because their products aren’t good, but because the message doesn’t land. That’s not a language issue; it’s a positioning problem. It’s cultural. It’s strategic. It’s psychological.

I founded Yankee Bridge with a clear purpose: to help Asian manufacturers not just enter Western markets—but truly succeed in them. That means more than speaking English. It means shaping how your products are understood, trusted, and chosen by U.S. and European buyers. I focus on message, meaning, and market fit—because when those three align, sales follow.

Before launching Yankee Bridge, I spent over 12 years as Partner and General Manager of Boliya USA, representing furniture and accessories sourced from China, Thailand, and Mexico. Our portfolio ranged from hand-crafted acacia wood pieces to contemporary case goods. I managed the full lifecycle—from product development and branding to client training and large-scale retail negotiations. My work helped land lines with major U.S. retailers like Wayfair, Houzz, and Gilt, supported by custom sales tools, messaging, and cooperative intention.

Earlier in my career, I ran flagship showrooms for high-end European brands like Ligne Roset and BoConcept in key U.S. cities including Seattle, Scottsdale, Miami, and Chicago. That time in retail taught me one crucial thing: Western buyers don’t just buy products—they buy stories, experiences, and emotional confidence in what they’re purchasing.

My edge lies in understanding both sides of the table. I’ve worked deep inside Chinese production facilities, collaborating closely with factory workers, executives, owners and engineers, managing overseas trade shows, and hosting U.S. buyers for factory visits and sourcing trips. This gave me a firsthand view into the rhythm and rigor of Asian manufacturing—and the often unspoken expectations of Western retail partners.

Now based in Tempe, Arizona, I bring that hybrid perspective to every client relationship. I help manufacturers bridge not only a language gap, but a cultural and commercial one. Through Yankee Bridge, I offer strategic copywriting, brand positioning, go-to-market planning, and operational consulting—tailored to help Asian businesses speak with clarity, stand out in Western markets, and scale with purpose.
